Team evaluation

Good day to all of you,

As most of our national press can be found in Amsterdam today for the crowning of our new King, it was decided to write a press release.

In this release there will be some clarification of who is gonna lead The Hippies in the future.

As The Machine was delighted to see Lammert Hagman having ‘very good’ potential for climbing, downhilling and flat road, he could not wait to train this young rider. Unfortunately Hagman maxed at an average of 41, clearly making him one of those talents that just does not live up to his potential.

Luckily for The Machine, he was able to scout the young Scottish rider Byron McVining. This young lad has good potential for climbing, hilling and sprinting. In the shadow of the current captain, Hagman, he can develop himself and The Machine can meanwhile prepare him for the captainship.

Currently the former supertalent Hagman is still the team’s captains and he successfully scores points and earns money for the team, money that can be used to train his successor. After performing extremely well and getting a first place and two second places in one week, Hagman’s results are currently a bit disappointing. Scoring 8th and 5th places, The Machine will soon give him some rest so he can regain some strength.

For Villa Krause Climbs, The Machine wishes to see Hagman score a place in the top 5 but he realises this might be overly ambitious. The Machine did, however, give the press the hint that he might have a masterplan to let Hagman grab a spot on the podium.

  Yours sincerely,

  PR Officer TheHippies
